I am currently using an Olympus Evolt 510 Digital SLR. Also included in my bag of gear is a 14 - 42mm zoom, 40 -150mm zoom and a 70 -300mm zoom lens. Since these Olympus lenses are designed specifically for the digital SLR, the focal of these lenses is double of what they are labeled as compared to a lens for a 35mm camera. In other words, the 70 - 300mm lens for this camera would be equivalent to the 140 - 600mm lens for a 35mm SLR.
